reasonable, trendy skincare for older teen??

DD (17) wants to up her skincare regime. She's got normal skin but does get a few spots. Was looking for suggestions that aren't £££££, but also being a typical teen she does have brand awareness so probably wouldn't want Morrisons own for example. I'm firmly in the Boots Protect & Perfect age bracket so not really aware of what's in at the moment!
Looking for a nice set or individual items I can put together into a set.
Any thoughts? TIA

Most teens including mine are using Cerave SA face wash cleanser because it has salicylic acid in it and calming ceramides. Use daily with a fresh flannel

Nip & Fab teen skin fix
La Roche Posay Effaclar

Both for oily/hormone skin, both contain salicylic. The Cerave wash above also excellent. DD uses N&F and Effaclar and washes with the Cerave. She adds a niacinamide serum afterwards and in a month her skin has transformed. She's 17.

CeraVe SA range. Body Shop also good.

Superdrug have some excellent skincare ranges that are very highly rated and reasonably priced. Why does it need to be a trendy brand? Surely the products would be kept in the bathroom, not on display for all to see.

A few bits from the ordinary or glossier?
