Anyone know where I can find a full list of all maybelline matte ink lip colours for every country combined?

I'm obsessed with this range but there are so many that haven't been released officially on the UK market - I want to know what exists! I've found 64 colours so far but keep coming across others although some may be ones that have been discontinued. I'd love a definitive list but Maybelline doesn't seem to do that beyond what's available in certain markets. Anyone know of a full list anywhere?

Can you email them? Foi request even :) good luck!

AliciafromGalicia · 09/12/2020 12:55

Hadn't thought of that Account! Might give it a go but not sure how likely they are to reply!

Good luck! I’ve had a search myself because that would be an excellent list, and I thought there might be some stock catalogues online but so far nothing...

AliciafromGalicia · 10/12/2020 13:32

Thanks Account - I've asked on their Facebook page and will update you here if I get an answer. Won't hold my breath though. They must get loads of queries on FB.

I don't have a list but oooh, I love these and maybe could pick your brain?! I'd like a nice nude, something like Velvet Teddy or old fashioned Rimmel Asia but buying online I get it wrong every time. Any recommendations? Driver comes out like concealer on me, Amazonian is pretty but too orange, Soloist gorgeous but pink. I have about ten but you sound like you'd know @AliciafromGalicia !

AliciafromGalicia · 10/12/2020 19:58

Oh God, LimpLettice, I'm not sure I can help but I'll try! I've actually never been able to really wear lipstick before as I've got a really odd shaped top lip and it ends up looking like a line and a dot above it as my top lip fades away to nothing after a centimetre or so of cupid's bow (and I do mean nothing rather than just being thin - the actual lip seems to be on the inside of my mouth!). I've always therefore just drawn on my top lip with lip pencil at the sides of my mouth but if I try to put lipstick over it it looks fake and weird and it's only been discovering these lipsticks that lets me paint on colour that's thick enough to look like it's actually covering something and also doesn't budge. So this range has been my first real experience of lipstick, and I'm now making up for twenty-five odd years of non-lipstick wearing when I'd really have liked to be experimenting and having fun! So I've never tried velvet teddy or Rimmel Asia and probably never will, sorry to disappoint you.

That said, I've been looking for a good nude as the bright colours are great for when I'm wearing glasses (I've never mastered the art of eye makeup with glasses but always look pretty washed out without it) but need something more subtle for my contact lens look (I go in for really smoky eyes). The shade versatile (210) is probably the closest I've come to my own actual lip colour although I don't know if it would be classed as a nude. I find that really pale colours seem to be the ones called nude but they're always way paler than my own lips. Assertive is a slightly stronger version of versatile on me but I find it's still ok with heavy eye makeup so I kind of see it as a nude (although it doesn't look like it is on the packaging and might be really bright on someone else - both are slightly orangey/peachy tones and look a little like a more natural version of self-starter on me). Of the ones you can easily buy in Boots/Superdrug, I think seductress is probably the only shade that might be considered a nude that works for me. I haven't got the full range of colours available in the UK yet though. I think my mum's getting me the ones I don't yet have for Christmas and I feel the kind of excitement I used to feel as a child. It's crazy how happy these lipsticks have made me feel - so grateful to mumsnet S+B as I discovered them here!

Love seeing this much excitement over lippie!

I have Seductress and it's cute but slightly too pale on my skin. I'll have a look at Versatile and Assertive though! I think I need less orange and more brown. Looks like Versatile might be closer to my lips. Thank you! I hope you get them all for Christmas.

AliciafromGalicia · 10/12/2020 22:34

Thanks Limp, me too!

Come to think of it, Limp, there's a range called the coffee collection that might do a good brownish nude. I've never paid much attention to it as browns don't usually suit me but Luna Alano did this video - - showing them all (although she seems to be of Asian origin so I don't know how close her colouring would be to yours). It's like lipstick porn but does give you a good idea of the shades and after having watched it I find myself tempted to add the lighter ones to my list despite my hunch that browns don't suit me that well! It's a very seductive video (although I am easily seduced with this range!).

Now that looks more like it 255 especially. I hope it becomes available in the UK! Thank you v much.

AliciafromGalicia · 12/12/2020 01:48

It probably won't but you can get them all online with a bit of searching! Ebay is great!

I feel we should keep this thread alive. My lipsticks have been woefully neglected this year and I miss wearing them but I need a better stay on matt and one that woo my make my lips look shrivelled

Good luck Alicia!

wonderinghmmm · 13/12/2020 04:25

I'd love to keep this thread alive Account!

And thank you Buster - I'll check those out (or maybe create a spreadsheet!)

BusterGonad · 13/12/2020 05:41

Sorry there's no names for the shades but they weren't on the FB page.

wonderinghmmm · 13/12/2020 15:24

No worries Buster, I'm sure I can find that info without too much difficulty!

NorbertMeubles · 13/12/2020 16:19

Superdrug has the best UK range but there are lots of reds that I want to get my hands on that aren't available. I love these lipsticks. My favourite a Groundbreaker.

Melange99 · 13/12/2020 16:49

My favourite is Lover. But I find them a bit drying. I have to put on a swipe of lover, blot on a tissue, a layer of Carmex (the one in the pot).

LimpLettice · 13/12/2020 18:09

I love soloist, it's a perfect mauve on me. I slick on loads of balm half an hour before applying, blot it off and then it doesn't dry my lips.

Can't find 255 on eBay or anywhere so if anyone spots it let me know!

botemp · 13/12/2020 18:19

Limp, I'm in the Netherlands and it's easily available here. I'll look further but the shops I've spotted it online don't ship internationally. If you're really desperate for it I could post you one.

I recently bought my first two from the pink collection, 155 Savant and 150 Front Runner, as I figured they'd be good for wearing under masks and they really are good for that, no staining and they stay put through pretty much anything. Not a fan of the smell though.

QueenOfCakeandCoffee · 13/12/2020 18:33

I just wanted to add I love them too, I think they are the best lipstick I’ve every used.

LimpLettice · 14/12/2020 12:02

I might take you up on that @botemp! I'll keep looking but nothing I can find yet.

avocadoandprogesterone · 15/12/2020 14:56

There's a range called rogue reds that was released in some countries if you haven't heard of it, Norbert. Although I think one is available here (front runner). I really want to try them all and may let myself loose on Ebay if my bank balance looks healthy enough next time I check it!

Anyone know where I can find a full list of all maybelline matte ink lip colours for every country combined?
avocadoandprogesterone · 15/12/2020 14:58

Melange - I found them drying at first but when I started putting coconut oil on my lips they stopped feeling drying at all really. You could also try buying one of the 24hour superstay ones as they come with a lip balm attached which you can wear over it and it barely touches the actual lip colour or affects its staying power at all I find.

AliciafromGalicia · 15/12/2020 15:10

I so want all the rogue reds - not sure if they'd all suit me though! I'm wondering how close the red wine colours are to shades like ruler.
