Anyone had a keratin treatment that doesn't straighten your hair?

I read someone on an old thread say that they had non-straightening Keratin treatments on their curly hair and it made it less prone to frizz but didn't remove the curl. I've never heard of this before and wondered if anyone else had tried it or even knew anything about it?

Bumping hopefully, as long as the keratin treatment is silicone free!

You could buy the Wow dream coat hair treatment. It is activated by heat and eliminates frizz. Any other Keratin treatment I have had relaxes my hair but I prefer my hair more straight. If you are on Facebook, there is a group that follows the Curly Girl method and they would prob be able to recommend something.

Thanks Lydia - having a look at the Youtube reviews at the moment! I've actually got permed hair that I straighten but I don't want to straighten it permanently and I want the style I do to stay in place when I leave the house!

You should also try Olaplex if you haven't already. You can buy the No3 treatment for at home. The No2 is salon only but I bought a huge bottle on overstock 2 years ago and still using it. It's excellent also.

Yes I have and it works really well, only downside is not being able to wash your hair for 48 hours after
