I'm a lazy makeup wearer so just need a glowy, tinted moisturiser type thing??

Any ideas as to what I actually need and which are the best?
I have a ton of Bobbi brown makeup, and love it all, except my foundation stick because it takes to long and looks too made up for me. I have redness on my cheeks and nose but have mostly good skin and very few wrinkles. I'm 42 and am happy to pop and bit of concealer on, then the glowy stuff, then a touch of blusher/bronzer and some mascara. I like to take no more than 5 mins on the whole thing, and I want to apply with my fingers. I want to look glowy and fresh, not 'made up'. Can anyone help me please?
I'm happy to spend up to about £30.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. It can be applied with fingers, has a dewy finish and is about £26. Light coverage, so great if you have good skin and just want something to make you look fresher.

I really rate Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. Might to tricky colour matching though if you can't try on in store.

Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue.

Laura Mercier used to be amazing, until they fucked about with the formula. It's now shite. Even if you colour match correctly, it oxidises and sits in pores like nothing I've ever seen.

The BM one is infinitely better.

I'm also 42 with good, clear skin and not many wrinkles. Earlier this year i started using glossier perfecting skin tint and i love it. It's very sheer, light and glowy. It sounds exactly what you're looking for but doesn't have any significant coverage if you want that. It just evens out my skin and gives a wonderful dewy glow. I use the Glossier cloudpaint on top and love the whole look.

The skin tint is £20, but you'll save 10% with a referral link - check the promo board for one or pm me if that's allowed. It's a tiny bottle which lasts ages.

I use this, the cloudpaint and a kiko mascara. 😍

Garnier CC cream. About a tenner and great. I sometimes whack some Nars Orgasm on top, and maybe some primer underneath (smash box colour corrector, and I’m going to try Stila One Step).

MD Perricone no foundation serum is really lovely for a paired back look

IT CC cream it leaves a lovely finish. It hides redness and skin imperfections. Take a look on their video on QVC , the girl has red skin just one application of the CC cream and you would never know.

I definitely recommend the pure radiant tinted moisturiser from NARS. You definitely pay what you get with this item! I've tried cheap ones and nothing matches the quality of this one.

It's usually £31 but boots are doing an offer for £26 right now Smile

I like the Garnier BB one. Preferring it to my foundation ATM.

thesoundofthepolice · 25/11/2020 01:01

It cosmetics cc cream. If you buy it from QVC you can try it and if you don't like it return for your money back.

Girlintheframe · 25/11/2020 07:47

I love it IT CC cream and it has good coverage but even better IMO is the Bareminerals complexion rescue.

I think they have different purposes. The CC cream good for more of a foundation look but a lot easier to apply.
The BM for more of a healthy glowy no make up look.

Watching. I have a garnier bb cream hat I need to replace.
