Help please, the last 2 days I got these red spots on my face, cheecks to be precise. What can I do to get rid of them?

I saw on the telly last night that teenagers put toothpaste on them and it seems to work very well. Have you tried toothpaste?

Toothpaste is really astringent, isn't it (remember trying this when a hopeless teenager). The spot collapses in on itself, but you get an area of flaky skin to replace it.

I would like an answer to this q myself as I seem to have a terrible outbreak of pizza face at the moment. The kind of spots that hurt when you bend over.

why don't you do the toothpaste, then?

Surely flaky skin just needs a dollop of moisturiser. And now we're mothers we'll have ponds night cream or something
