The nicest place on MN is the fabulously wonderful and long-running 'The Archers' thread.

This section and the night worries thread those people on that thread are another level of nice

This appears on "Active". I don't post here often, if ever, but I agree, it's lovely to read. Everyone is so helpful and supportive. I hope the Bad Guys don't zoom in now 😂

I like this too! Just read a thread elsewhere where someone fancied an engagement ring upgrade and responses basically said “what’s wrong with your marriage”. Jeez, can’t a gal want something big and sparkly once in a while?

You’re right though, S&B is generally a lovely happy place to hang out with lots of fab links & pictures

Absolutely agree. I wanted a new bag, with very specific requirements, last year and had loads of fantastic advise from very knowledgeable posters (although I may have bought 3 instead of 1)

The advent calendar folks are amazing too. Really kind and great fun.

The recipe board is lovely too!
Not much drama or bitchiness over which is your favourite vegetable soup recipe

People are so helpful on the more specialist boards, aren't they?
You can basically get any query answered on MN, it's one of the things I love so much about it.
Food/recipes and Housekeeping are also very helpful and supportive.

S&B reminds me why I never go shopping- overwhelmed with choice!

Agreed! S&B have really helped me over the last couple of years (lost in a sea of kids/life changes/demands). Its a great space.
