Where have these gone? Is there a latest one?

OP posts:
ExConstance · 29/10/2020 16:47

All posting about Toast now.

Fortherosesjoni70 · 29/10/2020 17:56

We kind of stopped posting on them. They died away. Some of us still buy stuff from Hush. We got a bit fed up with the same styles.
I had another user name then too.

40notfabulous · 29/10/2020 18:57

Wow they were so busy I'm so surprised...

Some of us met irl and moved our chat elsewhere - got fed up of being accused of being Hush plants!

MabelMoo23 · 29/10/2020 19:43

I thought this too, I used to love reading the Hush threads and they seemed to have vanished

Ponks · 29/10/2020 21:17

I was thinking the same, as wanted to ask if anyone had a discount code....

Ellapaella · 29/10/2020 21:49

Yes lots of us who were frequent posters got tired of being accused of being undercover Hush agents as @ilovecherries said so moved our chat off mumsnet elsewhere. The thread just died a death really.
They've usually done a code by now, November at the latest so I wonder if they are struggling a bit this year. Should be due one soon.

Laska2Meryls · 30/10/2020 07:16

Hush went a bit same-y really and the quality just isn't the same.. But yes we did get fed up of being thought of as 'plants'. Most of us are still around on MN though as well as chatting elsewhere..
I am mostly a Toast 'plant' now 🤣. ( Gosh I wish that they would give me clothes!) .

40not fabulous have you any current favourites from the new Hush collection? They do have some nice knitwear atm

Countmeout · 30/10/2020 08:22

I have the very occasional bit of luck with Hush, maybe buy 1 item a season that seems to work. It can be a bit expensive for what it is. This autumn I’ve bought the 100% cotton jersey midi which is good quality ( but is probably a mid season dress as I can only get it to work with trainers for me and has 2 big splits) and the star sweatshirt in vapour which has got a lot of wear when I can’t be bothered to put proper clothes on. I’ve never tried the knitwear.
Everything is a bit samey which is fine if you really love something and want a duplicate/replacement.

Laska2Meryls · 30/10/2020 08:30

I still buy their basics like leggings and the long vests.. which still seems to have retained the quality. and I have bought the linnet joggers since lockdown, which is a first for me ,( joggers that is) but they are really good and haven't bagged..

This, I rarely bought anything from hush apart from in the sales if I was a ‘plant’ I was a rubbish one! I was on the thread for the lovely supportive chat.
MabelMoo23 · 30/10/2020 17:51

I really miss the threads though and I used to get Hush inspiration! I had a couple of things last year which I loved and still wear loads

miffy2 · 30/10/2020 18:09

I miss the Hush threads (and the posters too - hope you are all wdoing well!).

I have not bought much Hush this year other than one pair of joggers in Ecru, two dresses that I have worn a lot (Penelope and Harriet) and most recently a pair of black cashmere wrist warmers as I lost one of my old pair. I wear them all winter so they were a must-buy.

Oh I bought a pair of their flat Brimpton sandals in the sale, I love them and will wear them next summer.

I would love a discount; I don't think there has been one for several months now. The referral codes are not as good as I have nobody to refer :(

Ellapaella · 30/10/2020 18:25

Hey Miffy 👋 we miss you too
Recently I've bought the Christine skirt - great buy and I was really pleased with it. Also got the coated jeans that are currently on the website, very pleased with them too.
Usually I would be coveting some knitwear this time of year but I'm afraid I have indulged in too many Toast jumpers recently to have any budget left for Hush so I haven't even looked so as not to be tempted.

miffy2 · 30/10/2020 18:30

Hi, Ellapaella!
That is a really pretty skirt. I am on a skirt ban as I have more than a human could possibly need...

40notfabulous · 30/10/2020 18:33

I've bought sone knitwear this year. It's eye watering it expensive but I'm enjoying wearing it so far.

OP posts:
40notfabulous · 30/10/2020 18:33

I've bought a couple of T-shirt's too but think I may be too old and too far to pull them off these days!

Online dating- what has been your experience. Which sites can you recommend? Any tips to pick out the dross. Would love to hear positive and negative stories so that I can decide whether to dip my toe in ...😊

40notfabulous · 30/10/2020 18:39

I used to buy loads in boden but never see anything I like these days so Hush is my go to now. I wish it wasn't so expensive but I think everything's going that way.

OP posts:
Ellapaella · 30/10/2020 18:53

@Hollytree4 😂 never tried OLD sorry.

Ellapaella · 30/10/2020 18:54

@40notfabulous what knitwear have you bought?

ilovecherries · 30/10/2020 19:53

I did get a few pairs of joggers and sweats at the beginning of lockdown but I’m tired of leisurewear and yet there seems little point of buying out/out clothes.

Fortherosesjoni70 · 30/10/2020 21:31

I think the last thing i bought from hush was in the JLewis sale. It was the mini star print smock dress.
I do actually like their winter things. Like the rainbow jumper. I just feel its ££ for what is mosly acrylic.
