Winter boots red laces

I am looking for some brown winter boots with red laces. Sort of like a hiking boot style but quite as utilitarian. Sort of cross between hiking boots and winter vans. I want to wear with jeans and dungarees.

All the ones I can find are very expensive or a previous years stock.

I don't really want to pay much more than £150.

Looking at all these great alternatives I wish I had asked on here too.

When I wanted a pair of vintage hiking boots I looked into loads of options (all, frankly, expensive) but I kept coming back to the Danner boots. It took me well over a year to finally buy them (the price!!).

I've only had them a short while but they've been on plenty of walks and I've even been in the sea in them and they still look that annoying kind of 'new'.

I love them because I can wear them into town as easily as I can wear them on a real hike.

But they come with cons - the price!, sizing is hard for some people so would be good if you could try them on (limited places sell them), they don't come with insoles which doesn't suit everyone, they're pretty high maintenance to look after the leather, they don't just slip on so you'll need time before going out the door to strap your feet in properly!

Can't speak for any other the other boots as I haven't tried them.

I need some new hiking boots as well so I'm wondering if I can justify the danner on the basis I was going to buy hikers and town boots. But they are just so bloody expensive I could buy hikers, the sketchers, some winter vans and come in well under the danners!

Hey, yeh I got the Danner mountain light in the end.

I absolutely love them. They're all I wear at the moment (and all I plan on wearing for every winter from now until forever!). And I certainly don't have any regrets about buying them.

I'm not sure I can justify the price for you though as you can get perfectly good shoes for much less as you've mentioned!

I also looked at the blundstone boots as a good all rounder - I've seen people walking through rivers in them and wearing them with dresses! Although they're not in the 'hiker style'.
