Curly hair - fragrance free styling products

I realise this could be a tough one!

I am currently using Umberto Giannini curl products (mousse, gel and finishing cream) and these work really well with my hair which is fine and curls (more than waves but not ringlet curl types).

Unfortunately though I am really struggling with the scent of the styling products. I have this problem with a lot of products because I start to react to the smell.

Are there any Curly Girl type products out there that you can recommend with no fragrance or very little?

Thank you for any of your thoughts.

I use an Aussie serum I think it’s called work that curl? I don’t notice a smell from it once it’s on

It’s a big ask unfortunately.
I struggle with this too. All the nice natural products I’ve tried are just too weak and runny to have any impact.
I find all the really good curl/Afro products very highly scented.
I’ve recently bought some Cantu curl cream which is amazing for my curls but is so strong in smell (that fake coconutty scent) I’m not sure I’m going to be able to cope with it. It nauseates me.
Will watch with interest....

Jessicurl offers fragrance free options in its gel etc (you pick the scent)

Oh, I've already been beaten to it on Jessicurl. All their products are available on a choice of 2 different fragrances or none. They are fab products too.

Love the range for this as the best product I ever bought was so highly fragranced it gave me a migraine Sad

I'm using the Superdrug own brand black castor and shea and while it's not unrestrained it is not too strong. It's also much cheaper than the suggestions above.

Thank you all very much! I will definitely try the fragrance free Jessicurl products and also look into the others.

I wish that more products of all types offered fragrance free options.

For those who use Jessicurl, could I please ask, is it good for very thick/coarse hair?
Only the Amazon reviews say it’s quite runny and lightweight? I usually avoid anything runny as they have no impact on my hair....
Don’t want to invest if I’m unsure, it’s not cheap!

Faith in nature conditioners are CG and I think they do an unscented one

I'd suggest spending some time exploring their website - they have products of multiple consistencies and guides for use.

I have the total opposite hair to you - superfine, so we probably make different choices, though I tend to like strong hold so it doesn't fly away.

Thanks so much to the last two posters. Really helpful.

@Sunshiney1981 spiralicious is the firmest hold, I use it and it gives a good cast

Quick update.

I bought the Jessicurl products and tried them today. They are fantastic. Zero fragrance that I could tell and they worked amazingly well for my hair.

I bought the small bottles to try and a set for fine hair.

My hair seems to have great curls but still be 'soft' which ia great.

Thank you for the recommendations.

Oh I'm glad they worked! I really like the spiralicious and rockin ringlets
