Today I am wearing cashmere for the first time

I've never owned anything cashmere. I could afford it, but I would feel guilty for spending so much on a jumper so never have. But having read lots of threads on here about how warm it is etc. I decided to try first by buying second hand. I bought a gorgeous 100% cashmere jumper (M&S Autograph) off eBay and today am wearing it for the first time.

I'M A CONVERT

It is so soft. Yet not bulky. And oh my god, so cosy. It's a total revelation!!

I am a bit worried about the care of it (I don't have a great track record when it comes to washing things!) but if I can keep this ok for a while I don't think I'd feel so bad about treating myself to a brand new cashmere piece in the future (or possibly add it to my Christmas/Birthday lists)

They sure do @TeaAndStrumpets just look at this one! I can just see DH face if I put that on my Christmas list!

Just found this cashmere Hoodie with a zip at a boot sale...$5!
Might have a tiny hole, but at my age sometimes its hard to see
Also, don't think I'll be putting the hoodie part up lest my hair turn into an electrical science experiment ⚡⚡

It's a gift that can be shared by both of you as he gets to hug you whilst you're wearing it and it'll feel so luxurious when he gives you cuddles

On another note...this kind of explains that not all cashmere is created equal...maybe M&S is now using a cheaper wool

Goodness it's like a science! I just go on how soft it feels and if I like the colour!! And, mostly, what price is it!!
