Virgin Vie party advice

Hi, I'm having a Virgin Vie party in a couple of weeks but I've never been to one before.
Any tips on making it a success?
And what products should I look out for?

TBH i found mine a little disappointing. The crackling foot rub is lovely tho.

What do they do then? Just go through all the products?

Sounds like I may need to up the wine quota then?

up the wine, get the hostess gift coz its GORGEOUS (heart of glass and i sooooo want it!)

they do make overs, tell you about products, you get to drink wine and try jewelry on and buy some too. the more your guests buy the more you can claim in freebies

loads of wine and bowls of crisp/nibble type things. Hopefully your hostess should lead and keep everyone interested.

I had one a while ago,it was a make up one.

Woman who did it advised against nibbles during the main bit as we were all playing with makeup.

I had everyone round kitchen table, each person had a mirror and we watched her do someone face up ,then we all got to use the makeup, have a play and decide what we wanted to buy.

It was fun,but would've been good to have seen the jewellry aswell.

Loads of wine was the secret to a good night as last person left at 3am ...on a school night!

I went to a home furnishing Vie party the other week....god it was expensive!! £70 for a duvet cover!! Didn't buy anything but won the raffle so left with a nice soap and handcream set!

My advice..plenty of wine

bozza · 13/10/2007 20:35

I would agree with plenty of wine. I have been to several parties with different formats. Nibbles too, but maybe later.

I really like the jewellry but it is pricy. Also I like the glass nail file.

gosh umma! i'm having one soon and was excited that they were now doing home stuff... got to say tho' that it is the jewellery that i'm really excited about. ggirl's post has made me want to double check that she will be bringing some...
