I tend to think they're crap. And then I hum and haw a little.

Are they crap?

No love them, knit my own and wear them under puff sleeve blouses but, then I am not a style maven. So yes, they probably are crap.

I want one for work but think I'm too fat and would end up looking like Billy Bunter! I think on the right frame they can look groovy.

yeeess, chip, maybe that's one of my concerns. Your puff sleeve tank top look sounds appealoing, screaming, but I know it'd make me look like a big butch gym teacher. I'm broad.

I saw someone in a nice tank top once, skinny rib bottom bit and a big low rounded neckline.

I like 'em. They cover up all sorts, bulges, stains, missing buttons. I've just bought one from Top Shop, funnily enough, and very pleased I am with it too.

Don't like them at all. Especially the fake tank top plus shirt and cuffs thing (what the hell?)

esp not over a white shirt in semi-smart office wear. Makes you look about 17 and clueless (IMVHO)

oo yes. I am agin these fake shirts. I like the look but could never wear a fake, sewn on top.

Agree that the fake shirt collar/cuff/tank combo is nasty though.

I like them personally and I do wear it over a white short-sleeved shirt.
