I have a rare genetic disease that affects my body's ability to make collagen and causes loads of varied symptoms. Because it's a horrible disease it seems silly to worry about a tiny thing like premature aging (which is by far the least serious symptom!) but I'm honestly at the stage where I can't stand looking in the mirror any more. I'm only early thirties but I have a really noticeable vertical skin fold in my neck with a less obvious one beside it (so almost classic "turkey neck") and deep lines like the queen has around the mouth (not sure of the name). It only become bad in the last year or so and I just don't recognize myself any more.
Has anyone had Botox/similar treatment at a similar age/areas and how did it go? Did they say you were too young? Did you have to keep getting loads of treatments afterwards? Any input appreciated and please be kind - I do know I sound ridiculous
