I am thinking a Baies candle and some aromatherapy associates shower oil but challenge me on those choices! Thanks

I am just a bit above 50 but I would wait until they do one of their regular offers eg £60 worth for £40 etc & would buy (in no special order) ...

Aromatherapy Associates
Votary
Baies candle
something from JO Loves

buckeejit · 06/10/2020 15:44

I'd wait for an offer too. Imo diptique candles are overrated. Now if they stock neom, that's another kettle of fish!

I'd go for the by terry hyaluronic powder as it's fab & a lipstick - nars, lipstick queen or chantecaille.

Aromatherapy associates shower oul is a good shout.

You could also put the money towards an advent calendar if you're feeling indulgent. Have you any gaps in your skin/hair/candle routine? I do love a candle more in winter tbf

I'm mid-40s and would buy Diptyque perfume rather than a candle. I don't like Baies much, so if I had to get a candle it would be Feu de Bois, and perfume-wise I would get Philosykos, Eau Duelle, or the geranium one which I can't remember the proper name of.

Otherwise...

Hourglass new Ambient powder
Agree with PP re the By Terry powder, I use it daily and it is fab
Laura Mercier Rouge Velour lipstick, or Nars lip crayon

If you hang on a bit until Christmas gifts are in - or maybe they are already? - AA do a box with all the different flavours of oil which is really lovely. I tend to snag one in the sale each year and it was lovely during lockdown to loll in the bath in delicious oil.

The Emma Hardie cleansing balm is lovely. As is the jurlique rose facial spritz toner but a bit pricey for all it is.

I'm all about the smell so watching with interest. Aromatherapy associates did a limited edition perfume a few years ago & i bought it in space nk. Adore it-worth having a look for limited edition things. Also if you've one nearby, it's worth going in to chat to the assistants & tell them what you like, then spend some time thinking before deciding!

I love SpaceNK and I spend far too much there. Malin and Goetz candles are where it’s at for me (though I do love Diptyque and Neom too, and the other PP was right about Diptyque perfume). I also love Aromatherapy Associates (bath oil in particular). Nars lip balm is a nice choice. Hmm...Olaplex, if you dye your hair?

I’d be tempted to get the advent too if I were you (full disclosure, already got it).

GezFox · 06/10/2020 19:40

Super suggestions! Am seriously tempted by the advent calendar .....

I love Diptyque perfume too - Do Son is my fave

Can't believe I forget the by Terry powder -I do like this and it lasts for ages

I'm not familiar with the perfume you mention but as a perfume fiend I would probably go for it

I had the advent last year and the only reason I didn't buy it this year is because I have kids of small samples/advent it's to use up

For those liking Aromatherapy Associates - I posted a one time use 15% off code earlier today on the Christmas Thread 10 which may not have been used yet .....

AAssociates often have good discount offers on their website. The other place you can often get 20% off them if it's of any use is on Barh & Unwide website - can't say what their service is like now because I haven't used them for quite a while.

trumpisaflump · 07/10/2020 07:07

How nice! I'd buy the Hourglass powder or put some more money towards an advent calendar

GezFox · 07/10/2020 22:26

Advent calendar purchased ! Do I really have to wait until Dec 1 to open? !

OP posts:
buckeejit · 09/10/2020 18:51

You can open it earlier if you have another for December. Liberty is also good! 😂

Mxflamingnoravera · 09/10/2020 18:53

I second dyptque scents, fig or sandalwood (can't remember their names but both lush).

BoulangerieBabs · 09/10/2020 19:01

Oooh some Votary Super Seed facial oil, feels really luxurious under night cream.

HelloDulling · 09/10/2020 19:03

Eve Lom cleanser and an Hourglass Ambient powder.
