I think everyone has a favorite pair of jeans and I am on the lookout for mine...

I have tried loads, even brought 2 pairs from Gap last week but on reflection I still look like a weeble!!!!

Where did you get your best loved jeans from?

I want a comfy pair that make my tummy look flat! None of this low rise crap - I don't want my arse hanging out thank you very much!

Oh and bootcut!

Funnily my favourite jeans come from Next and New Look - 2 shops that I don't really rate!

Hula's from New Look - on waist, dark rinse
bargainous £10

Next - kind of the same style as above - boot leg £19.99 (the ones with the wavy lines on the jeans pockets)

bossykate · 10/10/2007 16:53

yes, hulas from new look brilliant!

sweetheart · 10/10/2007 16:55

Thanks Fimbo - I tired the new look Hulas ones but they just weren't comfortable, I think their sizes are out as a 10 was too small and a 12 was miles too big.

My current fav's are Next jeans but they are called Slim Fit and I don't seem to be able to get another pair - I also find Next jeans are rubbish lengths - the regular length is way too short! i think when I tried the long ones they were a bad length too - for high heels at least. The ones I brought from Gap were 34" long.

Yes, Hula/Strut from New Look - not nearly as £££ as Gap.

RubyShivers · 10/10/2007 16:58

primark's skinny jeans - v v dark blue denim - £8 bargain

also, have to agree with New Look (hulas as well)

Marne · 10/10/2007 17:00

Primark jeans fit me a treat as does Next.

MascaraOHara · 10/10/2007 17:02

Not a bargain but I'm currently living in a pair of Diesel jeans.. over £100 but god damn they are worth every penny.

Nbg · 10/10/2007 17:02

I have the Gap straight leg ones. Brillo.

and the next maternity skinnys I have atm are great. I really hope they still fit when baby blubber has gone.

tiredemma · 10/10/2007 17:03

Diesel.

Love them. expensive though.

oh and my topshop black skinnies- I could sleep in them I love them so much.

TheBlonde · 10/10/2007 17:06

like Gap
pre kids loved Miss Sixty

currently favouring new look

cornsilk · 10/10/2007 17:07

I used to swear by oasis but I think they've changed the style as the last 2 pairs I bought are really uncomfortable. Think I may be tempted to try diesel. Where's the best place to get them from?

FrenchmumOf3 · 10/10/2007 17:12

Zara are my fav as they're really long! Otherwise for tummy holding, super comfy everyday jeans, it's Next bog standard Boot Cut for £29,99! I always live in these after giving birth !

littleboo · 10/10/2007 19:53

bought a fab pair of skinnies from Dotty P of all places. TBH never shop in thre but heard good reviews on handbag forum (sorry) and tried them on, they are a really good fit

woodenchair · 10/10/2007 19:56

Another vote for the hula's from New Look, can't go wrong for a tenner.

I also really like Gap, they last for ages, but I'm in between sizes at the moment so they don't fit.

brandnewhelsy · 10/10/2007 19:59

M and S Per Una Roma - dark, stretch, high waist, do them in a short leg, vaguely flared but look skinnyish, really flattering if you're short and dumpy . The only things I'd buy from Per Una, by the way.
