What to take to NY

I am going at half term for 6 days.want to be stylish and comfy No big glitzy nights out planned Sightseeing shopping and early-ish dinners with dp and ds but still want to look nice and not all jeans!

nothing. take an empty suitcase and go shopping.

Comfy shoes and a wad of cash! Then shop like you have never shopped before!!

it's not that cold in October! see this although you can get freak snow in October it is unusual. you will end up doing tons of walking so I second the suggestion for comfortable shoes or boots. tailored trousers, knee length skirts, trench coat, stylish knitwear...
