Beauty Pie

Does anyone have a Beauty Pie membership and if so is it worth it? There are different membership options and I'm just trying to work out what's the best value in line with how much I might typically purchase each month. I want to use it for the odd product for myself and also to buy gifts for birthday / Christmas like candles etc. Thoughts / experiences welcome!

I love it. Don't really like the skincare, but my makeup is exclusively from beauty pie. I am a very heavy makeup user as my face is the type of face that needs a lot of makeup for it to even be visible. It allows me to get lots of really nice makeup for an affordable price- really love the primer, cushion contour, cream blush, eyeshadow palettes, makeup brushes, false lashes mascara, highlighters.

I have a £5 membership.

I am an annual member but tbh I feel like BP think we are all stupid and I end up feeling such a mug.

Those RRPs are ludicrous. The make up is poor quality. The marketing and stock control is laughable. And the whole ‘oh yay it’s back in stock’ just makes me annoyed. The products are expensive once you take membership into account.

And even the ‘Marcia K started up BP to give more access to the beauty industry’ seems to be bullshit. As far as I can see she isn’t and never has been a Director or Person with Control of the company see Companies House Beauty Pie or Marcia Kilgore.

And then they have influencers restate it. So, yeah, just feels bullshitty to me now. Which is disappointing.

Have been with it from the start and have been pretty happy. Skin care is excellent and comparable to much more expensive products. Candles are also great, and they last and last. Brushes are high quality and good value. I love the translucent powder and the eye crayons (the ones that are very similar to Laura Mercier or By Terry), but have found most of the cosmetics to not be that exciting.

Depending on how much or how little I'm purchasing, I move back and forth every 4 or 5 months between a £5 and £10 monthly subscription. Some months I split it with a friend and order skincare products for her, which I think is the best way to really get your money's worth out of a membership.
