Need Cool Hip Different Handbag - DH being mean!!

Right is my birthday on Sunday and want a new handbag - DH won't buy me the one I want on account that it is too expensive - he reckons you could pay of a small country's debt and live witgh yourself easier than spending so much on a handbag!

So girls I want something preferably not black, leather, different, not a square boxy one but nothing too girly - super uber cool chick is the look I am going for!

What sort of price? I love the look of this but it's v expensive. This in the ivory is quite nice too - and a bit cheaper!

I have fallen hook, line and sinker for Mulberry their bags are pretty classic and look better with age so you could always try and convince him you'll use it forever?

Mrs Spoon this is to replace my mulberry which I was lucky enough to be bought when it first came out and was the ultimate bag to have!

He now says spending £600 on a bag is ridiculous - I an holding out hope for an eternity ring though so maybe that why!

Ended up asking for one from Red Direct - not too expensive so hopefully will get ring too.

Twinkie1, the Mulberry seconds shop in Somerset is great! Worth a trip if you are anywhere near.

Live about as far east as somerset is west I am afraid - may have to suggest a holiday there soon though now that I know there is a shop there!!

They have a Mulberry shop at Bicester village - also various other designer shops with handbags - seem to remember a Tods.
