this one

I fear the 'oh yes it is warm on a crisp Autumn day in the south of England'

I am hoping for 'this will keep your kidneys warm on February in the North West'

will it look stupid with big scarf and hat?

is it roomy for cardis under?

I am thinking Brown

Frumperama

Sorry

CappuScreamO · 07/10/2007 14:37

find me a damn coat then

I have a big old Mum coat from Lands End but I want a nicer one for when it is not raining

budget is £65 (cos that coat is £79 and I have a 15% discount voucher)

I like it - any risk of frumpiness could be averted going for a colour other than brown?

moondog · 07/10/2007 14:38

How about something in gret serge, slightly military?
That's what I am after but I have zero time to shop.
(Therefore no Boden catalogue inside out)

moondog · 07/10/2007 14:38

Diff. colour would tone down frumpiness but corduroy v dangerous.
A real risk of looking like a down at heel geography teacher circa 1989.

moondag. I need a coat too.

Fashionable and not too puffy but not too tight so you can't wear a cardi under like capp says.

princessmelBABY · 07/10/2007 14:42

moondog not dag

lucykate · 07/10/2007 14:45

i like it, i have something similar in beige that i got from dorothy perkins getting on for 8 years ago now. i love corduroy

AllBuggiedOut · 07/10/2007 14:49

Like it, but won't keep you warm. You need wool not cotton in the North West!

CappuScreamO · 07/10/2007 14:58

I knew it wouldn't be warm enough

and brown was the only option to go with red

I wear a lot of red

and Boden is disappointingly red-free
