maybe Tamum will knit us some

SixInTheBed · 05/10/2007 09:44

H&M had some in kids and teenage girl sizes last week - the sizes are usually quiet generous so they might fit.I thought they were cute - my 13 yr old Dd rolled her eyes and sighed..Maybe they have them in grown up sizes as well

nailpolish · 05/10/2007 09:44

i have a lovely new jacket, mascara, its pretty warm, only trouble is, the sleeves are 3/4 - eitheri get long gloves or arm warmers - the ones katierocket linked ar nice but expensive

katierocket · 05/10/2007 09:46

weird - works for me. GO to www.brora.co.uk then go to Women - Accessories - Wrist warmers.

MascaraOHara · 05/10/2007 09:46

I can't follow the link.

arm-warmers do look very cool with 3/4 length sleeves i think.. it give the feel of layering.

OMG KR the charcoal ones here are they the ones you linked too.. I did want woolier but they would definitely do - but ouch £45 for gloves with no fingers.

Yes but aren't they gorgeous, and Brora stuff is brilliant quality. But yes, sadly expensive.

nailpolish · 05/10/2007 09:49

i love that charcoal colour

katierocket · 05/10/2007 09:49

They will be soooooooooo soft.

nailpolish · 05/10/2007 09:52

katie stop it!
they are too expensive

MascaraOHara · 05/10/2007 09:53

i reckon with two balls of DK wool (or if you wanted supersoft try Cashmerino) you could make a reasonable copy. Get thee to the Arts and Crafts section and see if DutchOma is around.

katierocket · 05/10/2007 09:56

Ah but what price warm wrists?

I frequently salivate over Brora stuff. It's like cashmere porn for me, I can't get enough of their jumpers. I own 2 Brora items - a cardigan which I've had for 4 years and has never had one bobble on it and is still lovely and soft. ANd a pair of grey gloves - ditto.

But each season I look at their new stuff and find at least 5 things I want to buy (but can't as too expensive).

MascaraOHara · 05/10/2007 09:57

Oooo really, I would so pay!

lol, I don't even know what it's called - but I can work out what day I was off sick..
