Brown clothes?

Brown is something I've always tried to avoid as I thought it looked dull and boring, but I've been reading these boards more and more and think this colour might suit me (auburn hair, pale skin). I'm just not sure what other colours to put with it. I want to get some work outfits (teacher) so need skirts, trousers and blazers that could go with brown/orange/mustard tops. Any ideas? I'm bored of black trousers all the time, but still want to look professional and coordinated!

Surprised at the hate for Joe Browns on here! They're hit and miss, but a hit is generally better than something from anywhere else Blush

It does still have some of that, but I go for the plainer stuff when I find it @lookatallthosechickens

@Saltyauntiepoop

Cannot wear brown i just think i look like a massive blob of turd dressed in brown Blush

This is me as well. I also don't go for peachy or creamy colours, nor mustard, khaki, or deep fern greens. Just my colour taste!

@WindFlower92 I wear that rusty/orange roll neck for work with these trousers quite a lot - black and white houndstooth www.sezane.com/en/product/la-liste/pantalon-clara/ecru-black

I love brown, am an analysed autumn & wear a variety of browns! H&M usually have autumnal colours, I like it with cream, red, burnt orange, other brown tones!

A bright lipstick lifts it!
