Hairdresser messed up my hair

Can you ladies give me some advice please.
My colourist to date has been ok and done my hair reasonably well, not as well as I'd like but passable.
The last time I went after lockdown I had it highlighted as usual and I said I'd like some subtle pink highlights put in nothing too obvious.
They don't do blow drys any more because of covid so I had no idea what it looked like as my hair was still wet and I have a lot of hair.
I'm 58 and my hair is my only nice feature now, everything else has gone south so I like it to look nice.
Well nearly all the grey at the front is still showing and I like it covered, half the roots at the back are still on show and she put great slabs of pink in so when my hair is up for work (in the NHS) I look like the pink bride of Frankenstein.
I've also noticed she is quite rude now and doesn't seem to care what I say or bother to reply to me just huffs about.
Well I was going to slink off to another hairdresser and not go back but then I thought no way! I've paid £80 for this crap and gave her a big tip so they can darned well sort it out.
Trouble is I'm furious now because everyone at work has been asking me, "Did you do your own hair" and we all know what that means and my sister who came over just laughed and said did you fall into a radioactive swamp?
I'm ringing them on Monday to ask another stylist to sort this mess out because I am seriously not happy - I should get this remedied for free shouldn't I? Because they did it so they should sort it out.

When I had my hair coloured the first time it came out much more auburn (eg ginger) than expected! I mulled it over for a week but didn't fell happy so messaged the stylish and she told me to come in ASAP and she sorted it for free. Don't think it was even her fault just it was the first time so getting the colour right and her reading my mind was harder. You should definitely have this sorted out.

Great thanks, but my hair really is a mess though, it looks like an real amateur did it.

Yes they should cover the cost especially if it’s technically poor. This happened to me where I had Grown my hair out to get rid of the colour build up and to start a fresh with highlights (it was a loooong process) to go and get my hair done and it was done terrible, it was so blocky and at the sides it was just a solid line, I’m brunette so was really noticeable. I ended up going back and getting them to put a dark dye all over it- I was actually devastated at the time. They covered the costs and apologised and I never went back.

Hope it gets sorted for you!
