I have a black Hennes one and it seems to just skip happily over the lumpy bits. Not sure if arse looks capacious but the rest looks so improved I hardly care!

What coat to go with?

With my Asda one (from last winter, so quite 60s esque) I'm in skinny black jeans but my Hennes one is a bit longer and a tighter fit so looks better with tights or long socks and boots. Only have black opaques and chocolate socks atm. but am after plum tights.

PneumaLNN: How do they look good with fat legs? I am a size 12 but have fat legs... would've thought a sweater dress would be sartorial disaster - do tell!

Wear a sweater dress over trousers if you don't like your legs. Good look.

kathy, i thoyght that too re the bf thing, just wear over leggings or skinny jeans and its fine, or get a low cut one you can pull own (only works if you dont have huge norks)

Any links to some nice ones? I am a size 12/14, big norks and lumpy middle...can't imagine I'm going to look that great in them. Am sick of stuff that stops around my stomach which I spend all day pulling down though.

I would love some links to some decent ones as well.. like the look but haven't indulged yet.. I now however have some boots that would look fab with a sweater dress.

I love them. I have a nice stripy one from h and m. Wear with skinny jeans , tights or leggins. Have some short sleeve ones from matalan too.
It makes my normal lentgh tops seem much too short. I had a normal one on today with tracksuit bottoms ( I was taking dd swimming) and felt very self concious of my tummy.
