Got a fab new funky haircut last Friday and proceeded to raid the make-up counter at Space NK to really cheer me up before winter really sets in for the next 11 and a half months

I now feel foxy and ravishing and rather smugly pleased with myself

As I am kind hearted I thought I'd share:
If you normally cannot do lipstick and are disappointed with lipgloss, this is what you need: Lipstick Queen in Saint Natural
Incredibly comfy, gorgeous colour, you don't know you're wearing it (I never wear lipstick usually!!)

For eyeshadow that lasts, get the Laura Mercier primer (can't find the link)

To finish off lovely eyes, Laura Mercier eye brow powder

Also got some gorgeous eye shadow and an eye brow powder brush.

now I want to know if I was the only one here not to use eyebrow powder?
Cannot believe the wonderful difference it makes. I have naturally dark eyebrows, which are a reasonably good shape (with a bit of help), so thought I didn't need anything there. How wrong I was.....
And powder is miles better than a pencil

i used to use a sally hansen one i picked up in sainsburys but they have stopped doing it now

i quite liked the tingly taste of it

DastardlyDior · 03/10/2007 12:26

I use a brown Dior eyeshadow with a slanted brush for my eyebrows. They look patchier without.

lou33 · 03/10/2007 12:27

i dont use eyebrow powder, but when i have finished putting on my mascara i use the remnants on the brush on my brows to keep them in shape

SmartArseCoveredinCobwebs · 03/10/2007 12:27

Right so I need eyebrow powder too.

I'm supposed to be on an economy drive too, CD, so all these handy hints aren't helping! Having said that, a trip to SpaceNK might be cheaper than my lunchtime as my boss has just told me I'm paying as a punishment for my mobile ringing at work!

princessmel · 03/10/2007 12:29

The lipstick looks quite dark in the link. Is it really a natural colour? I usually just wear vaseline in the day and gloss if I'm going out.

PoisonFrogPrincess · 03/10/2007 12:33

yes it is very natural, you obviously need to find what looks natural on your lips, but it is truly fab, and soooo comfortable to wear.

RubyShivers · 03/10/2007 14:11

i heart Space NK
my beauty must haves are:
Nars blusher ('tis called orgasm ) but it is a fab colour and makes me look all flushed
Browzings - Benefit's eyebrow colour and shaper kit
touche eclat - it works for me
boots natural collection mascara - dead cheap and brilliant
