I bought the knee-length squall a couple of years ago. It is warm and waterproof and still looks good. So I would recommend for you the jacket-length version, which is the same coat, but shorter.

Good for coats - yes. Bit dubious about some of the other clothes (they sent me an email the other day that said 'You can never have too many turtlenecks' - actually, you can - just one would be too many for me and my enormous norks)
