Dh always says 'Oh but ... without my glasses you are beautiful.'
Tis lovely being married to a nearly blind man. Never have to worry about looking crap in bed.

Baffy · 02/10/2007 14:17

what do you mean find out when you need to wear them?
have you got your prescription?

if it's minus something, then you're short sighted and need to wear them for distance (driving, watching tv etc)

if it's + something, then you're long sighted and need them for reading

or have I got the wrong end of the stick?!

codswallop · 02/10/2007 14:21

Cod do you mean one eye is short sighted and one is long sighted...

harleyweendemon · 02/10/2007 14:26

codswallop · 02/10/2007 14:27

OP posts:
harleyweendemon · 02/10/2007 14:28

mine are - and i am short sighted so you must have one long one short sighted. mildly

Surfermum · 02/10/2007 14:31

I had to get some about 6 months ago. Everyone commented when I started wearing them and told me I look serious and intelligent in mine. If that's the case, I must look like a half-wit without them.

Once I got over the upset that my eye condition was age-related, I realised that they were fab and I could actually see things again.

uberalice · 02/10/2007 14:38

oh well they don't appear to have improved your typing

Surfermum · 02/10/2007 14:39

. Maybe she hasn't got them on yet.
