  • Black
  • Leather
  • Cross body
  • Silver hardware
  • No super obvious branding
  • Not tiny
  • < £100.

I know nothing about bags and don't know where to start. My trusty M&S staple from the charity shop has finally died.

Anyone fancy a bag search with their Sunday coffee??

I want this, I'm a sucker for a personalised anything!

I have this, it's really nice. Not the biggest bag but big enough and if you scratch it, a little bit of leather cream brings it back to looking new again.
I also have one of their satchels for work, also fab IMHO.

Be warned - the Zatchels one is like an anti-Tardis, even the large size. I bought one for £25 in the sale last year and I've used it all of once. The flap makes it look so much bigger than it is - the actual bag part is tiny, barely big enough for a small purse, diary, glasses case and phone. The leather is really stiff too so there's no 'give'. They are absolutely beautiful but pretty much pointless if you need to carry more than the bare essentials.

M&S had 30% off all their leather bags last week - not sure if they still do. They have some lovely bucket-style cross-body ones.

The Lilith doctor bag from Gusti leather is my current favourite - it looks small but because it's got a wide bottom (I know the feeling) and is really soft, you can fit loads in. The frame opening is excellent too because you can see all your junk belongings easily. I can get all my crap stuff in mine including a bottle of water and umbrella with room to spare.

I totally agree about the zatchels one. I also bought in the sale and pretty much hate it! Can't even fit my normalish sized purse in it! And it is so stiff. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Same sorry! I have one in a gorgeous sunshine yellow and hardly ever use it. It’s tiny and it’s hard to open. I never use it really unless it’s spot on floor and outfit then I get compliments about it but it drives me mad!

Thanks all.

The zatchels one just isn't me at all. I prefer a slouchier, softer bag.

I've just bought this on eBay. Immaculate condition and looks absolutely lovely. Not a crossbody but otherwise ticks all my boxes!

Thanks for helping 💐
