Yes, she's definitely the same Sarah Jane. I'm 42, and she's (I think) the second Dr Who 'helper' that I remember. The first was a real 70s chick called Jo.

I was 8-11 when she starred with Pertwee and Baker, and she must have been at least early twenties, which makes her over fifty now.
