Black leggings for a tall and very slender 12 year old - where?

Not sure where to try ... Adidas 11-12 are an okay length but baggy as straight leg jeans (well, almost!). New Look, same thing ... she needs her own age for length but her legs are so thin that there’s too much fabric.

Anyone with daughter a similar build and a go to shop for plain black leggings? Thanks.

H&M - very slim, very long, we have purchased some recently 😁

I can't help my DD is short and slim.....she has to go down several ages to find a waist that fits but then they are too short! its impossible!

H & M used to be ok when DD that age but she’s 15 1/2 now.

My dd isn’t even particularly skinny but recent leggings from Next and Tesco in the right leg length have been so big on the waist that they fall down. H&M fit and so do Sainsbury’s, but as I say she’s average rather than skinny.

Jack wills if you don't mind the colourful waistband. They wash well

I buy adult leggings for my skinny tall 13 year old. She loves fabletics. H and m are good too, in a size 8.

Primark ladies - £2.50, even do extra length from a size 4 upwards.

ASOS do tall down to a size 4

New Look go down to a size 4. Hollister also do a size 00 (in jeans this is a 23” waist).

These are my go to places for DD 12. She’s not overly tall, but proportionally her legs are long, and she’s skinny as anything.

She recently went up to a size 0 (24” waist) in Hollister super skinny jeans so she’s clearly starting to fill out at least a bit. Her size 00 ones went straight to her 9yr old sister. (Who is not, by any stretch of the imagination big in any way)

Size 0 in Hollister is the equivalent of a size 4 in UK shops. Hollister also tends to be skinnier fit anyway.

Don’t be put off by the prices - there is a permanent sale section at the back of Hollister stores and you can get brilliant bargains. Got DD 2 new pairs of jeans last week for less than £15 each and they will last a good year on her.

If I go for Size 4 rather than children’s age 11-12 or 12-13, am I likely to get a slimmer fit all over? Hadn’t thought of looking at adult sizing but she is wearing a size 4 in Top Shop skinny jeans and they’re pretty good on her. Thanks for all the suggestions.

We have always found once you get to age 10 the childrens clothes get disproportionately wide. I am having terrible problems at the moment finding knickers to fit my really skinny tall daughter. They are all way too wide but not long enough in the body. So a size 4 will be a much better fit on a slim build girl than a teenage size.

I am usually getting DD the adult leggings from Sainsbury's.

ASOS tall. They're very narrow. Too narrow for me! They usually do multi packs.
