I've been using Collosol Eau de lait and Gallinée cleansing bar recently both from The French Pharmacy followed up by Shea Ultra Rich Comforting Cream from L'Occitane. Not the cheapest but you only need a little bit so they last for ages. I don't really do much else in the way of skincare but it's clearly working because I'm told all the time that I don't look my age.

My skin is dull and often just looks unloved. Ren is my saviour - I avoid the Glow range as it’s a bit harsh for my sensitive skin but the Perfect Canvas cleanser, omega oil, bio-retinoid cream and night serum just make my face look loved and cared for, no dryness or oilyness and no spots.

Murad is great. I'm alternating the retinol and vit c creams at the mo.

Cystic type spots and skin that's dull and doesn't turn over. Previous acne scarring (I'm a picker 🙈)

FaceTheory is having a very positive effect.

I’ve tried so many brands, cheap and expensive, cult and huge. My main concern is anti-ageing. Nivea Cellular is perfect for my skin and I get complimented often on it. I’m 41.

I am just launching my own skincare range!
But I'm not allowed to promote my own business on Mumsnet, so I'll let you know some brands that I love and an inspired by

Obagi
ZO
AlumierMD
PCA
Dermalogica

All medical grade products. Some need to be prescribed by a professional, but don't let that put you off. They will transform your skin better than any high Street product

Andy Peters made me smile on GM TV this am when he said laughingly his youthful look is down to smothering his skin in olive oil when he was younger , he was 50 today and he certainly looks looks at least 10 years younger

Mammyloveswine · 29/07/2020 23:35

I used good old bodyshop products!

PickAChew · 29/07/2020 23:42

I'm allergic to so much. I can't tolerate much on my face, particularly if it's scented. Been using clinique for years but tiring of the I naturalness of it. Love the ren evercalm cleansing lotion but the day cream doesn't moisturise enough and leaves my skin a bit sensitive.

Have drifted back to semi regular use of clinique clarifying lotion because mask wearing is making my cheeks break out in some really painful zits. I'm 50, ffs!

PickAChew · 29/07/2020 23:42

Unnaturalness

OP rather than us firing of with what we use, why don't you tell us exactly what you currently use, what your skin concerns are and what you would like to achieve.

This can then give us something to go by.
