Do you tuck a vest into or leave over a skirt?!

It looks weird both ways. It's a thick strap vest and mini skirt. What's the best way?! I love them both individually maybe not good together...

Depends on the vest and the skirt and also your body shape surely? No right or wrong way. Full skirt, high or low rise waist, pencil, gathered or pleated waist? Loose boxy vest, very fitted, how long?

Without seeing photos of this specific example, I'd probably tuck a top into a mini skirt, otherwise you won't see much of the skirt, or what you do see will look odd poking out from under a longer top. Unless the vest was short enough to sit just over the waistband and no more.
