I have one of those black and white checked coats that were fashionable a couple of years ago. I still love the coat, but not the checks. Can I dye it? If so who/where can I get in done?

Hmmmm doubtful, but may be wrong!

Teach textiles so know a bit about this. It will only dye if it is 100% natural fibre. In this case if it was a coat it would probably be wool.

However if you do it in washing machine, it would shrink. You could try coldwater dyes, but not sure a coat is up to it.

Don't know anywhere you could send it, although someone else may.....
