Plain coloured sweatshirts

My 11 year old dd wants a plain bright coloured baggy sweatshirt. I used to buy her things like that from a children's clothing company that I think merged with GLTC and which since seems to have vanished, and I simply can't find one anywhere. Anybody got any ideas? In her ideal world it would be shocking pink (so as to clash satisfactorily with her bright red hair!) but any bright colour would do!

I know what you mean seeker- that company was great for plain (no flipping logos!) long-lasting clothes wasn't it? I was so cross when I found they'd closed down, as the sizes were quite generous too.

Can't really recommend anyone else as I've struggled since to find stuff too. Mini-boden usually have some plain stuff as well as the jazzy ones. Expensive but if you keep an eye out during the sales you can get some good reductions & they do wear well.

I've found some nice things for my two DD's in george at ASDA too.

Had a look at Boden - not bright enough! Kids Stuff - that's what it was called. It's been driving me crazy - I've been trying to remember all day! Thanks for replying!

Thanks seeker been trying to think of it all day too-you know when something is on the edge of your memory & you can't QUITE dredge it up??

Even resorted to trying to find some of the DD's old clothes to read the label.....how sad is that??!

Will keep eyes open for Bright Clothing...

I know this is going to sound weird but have you tried somewhere like Millets? They are expanding their clothing ranges and do lots of hooded tops in various colours - all plain - not shocking pink though

I think they had some non-hooded ones too. They're not all fleeces - just plain 'sweatshirt material'!

Thanks Slayerette will try them we have one in town & yes they are expanding their range aren't they? Not just all Kendal Mint cake & hiking/campimg gear any more!
