Styles similar to Nike Internationalist & New Balance 574

My Nike Internationalists have been worn to death and are looking very much past their best. I've loved them, and am wondering whether just to buy another pair. I've also been looking a New Balance 574's, but I don't think that I'm quite as keen on them.

Is there anything else in the similar suede, perfect for school run genre that I've missed?

I think I'm just going to get more Internationalists, I can't see that I'm going to beat them!

I've just ordered a new pair of internationalist yesterday- had my current burgundy pair for four years and the toe is just starting to wear through. My favourite pair of trainers which you can literally wear with anything. I also love the look of New Balance but they are far too narrow for me.
Mine were reduced to £45 from Office.

What's the width like with the Nike Internationlists?

Enablers. Just got some from Office. I have had mine for about 4 years and been machine washed countless times and still look good. Love them!

@DelphiniumBlue I have very wide feet and find that internationalists are some of the very few trainers that fit well.

Ooh the £45 burgundy ones were out of stock when I tried to get them from Office ☹️ I've decided they're the best and I'm definitely getting more, I just need to find them for the best price now!

Am I the only one who finds Internationalists dangerously slippery in the rain? Have a pair I bought pre-lockdown and came a complete cropper in them on a wet pavement - really hurt myself! It's this kind of sole:

Reebok Royal Glide as an alternative?

Those reebok ones look identical to my first pair of trainers ever( bought in 1986!). Love them

I have 2pairs of Internationalists,in black and in white. I’ve got wide feet and find them really comfy. Imo they’re very versatile (look good with trousers as well as dresses/skirts) but it’s true they are renowned for being very slippery on wet surfaces! I’ve nearly come a cropper a few times,so I would never actually use them to ‘properly’ run in! Still love ‘em though.

These look a bit more internationalist to me. Yes, they can be slippy on some types of wet surface.

The only other shoes I can think of that have the same style as these (and NB) are the Reebok classics.
Like these or these.

Adidas also do a shoes in a similar shape but personally I’m not a fan of them.

Oh I just remembered another. Puma do a range in this style too (rider I believe they are called). They are definitely a more colourful option though - like these

Mine arrived today. Super comfy as usual and the sole looks a little more promising than the old style.
