I looooooooooooooove that name!

lou33 · 28/09/2007 10:55

knee length skirt

MamaG · 28/09/2007 10:58

you won't totter as the heel is rather chunky

Carmenere · 28/09/2007 11:02

They are very nice, I want them. They would go really well with wide leg trousers too.

TinyGang · 28/09/2007 11:04

Those are gorgeous shoes. I think you could wear them with skirt or trousers.

Cod that was your original name wasn't it?

EmsMum · 28/09/2007 11:06

My school uniform from the 70s

well, these are nicer but they make me a bit nostalgic for the days when I could walk a few inches taller without falling over.

codswallop · 28/09/2007 11:14

they are very comfy tbh
were admired by groovester in gap

codswallop · 28/09/2007 11:15

BarefootShirl · 28/09/2007 11:24

Not really my thing as I don't like closed in shoes (or any other type give a choice!)but I would have thought they would be good with long skirt or wide trousers.

NomDePlume · 28/09/2007 11:27

I love 'em

Also keen on the double strapped ones in tan.

I wouldn't wear 'em with jeans though.

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 11:28

ok
thyed be fine if you are tall and size 6
but thats it

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 11:28

otherwise look sensible and mumsy

IMO

NomDePlume · 28/09/2007 11:29

fishnets or opaque tights/hold ups if you're not feeling brave enough for f'nets

fitted pencil skirt

fitted top

V sexy Miss Moneypenny look.

Or opaque tights and little shift-type dress.

T-bar shoes also good for these looks, imo

codswallop · 28/09/2007 11:30

also gpa stirghtleg jeans

or suit trews

NomDePlume · 28/09/2007 11:30

i'm size 5, np

BTW, chunky heels MUCH more forgiving and flattering on non-supermoggel figures than stilettos

codswallop · 28/09/2007 11:31

the platformt hign si sgood

nailpolish · 28/09/2007 11:32

chortle

i jsut ahve a thing about brown shoes like that

bornw only for boots

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 28/09/2007 11:42

Nearly all my footwear is of the boot variety, and after seeing a photo of myself in flat boots today have vowed to invest in some heels, being vertically challenged as I am. I agree that chunkier footwear is better on less-than-supermodel legs, otherwise you can have a tendency to look a bit miss piggy-ish with trotters stuffed into stilettoes. You have convinced me - I am getting them and will wear them with jeans, my clingy little cashmere sweater dress and may even buy a pencil skirt
It's about time my wardrobe reflected my age - I have dressed like a student for too long.

Will look gorg with a pencil skirt.

I'd wear the brown ones with blue skinnys, brown or green smocky top or some sort of knitwear.

kitsandbits · 28/09/2007 11:51

uhrgggh i love those wannit!!!

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 28/09/2007 11:54

I am thinking slim jeans and a top like the Boden empire line top in purple (farking sold out in my size, grrr). Would like to do a link to said top, but computer being a bollocks today.
