London hairdressers who do FANTASTIC cuts?

Lockdown has forced my hand in ditching the colour and embracing the grey, so I've got fairly significant roots now. I'm going to attempt to power on through, but I think I definitely need a really excellent haircut.

I have very fine just above shoulder length hair right now (though happy to lose some length) so it's a bit meh - I've always focused on the colour really and the haircut has been a bit of an afterthought. But if I'm going to go grey, I need this focus to change, so I want the cut to be absolutely banging.

I am happy to pay through the nose for it (will be saving a fortune on colour!). I guess up to about £200?

Any recommendations?

If you are to the west of London towards the M25, Roni in Staines is terrific. Doesn't charge extortionate prices and will cut your hair to suit you.

There's a man in Dulwich who gets mentioned on here.

I think you might mean Mark Anderson? He was recommended to me, but I didn't actually book it. Wish I had now though! My hair is a disaster after lockdown.

If you’re West London, I highly recommend Amber at Orange Chat in Ealing. Not a big name salon but she is fantastic.
