Would you care to share it?
Most of us have more hair to play with after lockdown, and are looking for ideas. So what style are you going for?

I don't have a picture but I'm embracing my curls. I've been straightening my hair for 30 years and stopped at the start of lockdown. It's in fabulous condition (apart from the grey roots!) so I'm going with it!

These are the two I have sent and described to my hairdresser by text. Some kind of long bob that I can straighten or have curly girl waves. And ombre/bayelage type colour/highlights. My hair is a frizzy mess at the moment but the rest of me looks ok and I am starting a new job soon so I need this haircut badly

I'm currently sporting an earlobe length bob of sorts. I usually have a pixie cut. I have an appointment booked but as I'm in Scotland it's not until the 19th of July. The excitement is building.

I'd been in the process of growing out my hair, but it's also on the fine side. So now that it's gotten so long in lockdown, I'm desperate for an actual style again!

I'm going for a (angled?) lob with fringe that I can wear full or as curtain fringe.

Ooh, yes please. I have a very grown out pixie ish cut. I've had bobs in the past and the photos are so frumpy.

I think I'd like something bouncy/floppy part way between the two, but not sure what it would be called

@Livingoffcoffee tell me more about this fringe i am always looking for the perfect long fringe. Your idea sounds intriguing but i dont really understand.

Haha @Ffsseriously well I think I sorta just made it up, to be honest! I like the look of a full proper fringe on me, but also think sometimes they're not practical (rainy/windy days they're impossible to style). So I'm thinking it's just asking for a fringe that's a little on the longer side, that I could part down the middle and push to each side if I wanted. Kinda like this

Some kind of angled long bob with a side fringe I think - but having not had my hair coloured since Jan I'm undecided on whether to have more highlights or grow it out

This but my hair is quite a bit shorter, a couple of inches past my shoulders. I'm 50 and hope I can get away with it.

I have exactly the same style myself. I’m taking the opposite to go longer rather than keeping it short. I was thinking of something like these but think I’ve changed my mind now.

I have been asking for something like this for the last few appointments I look nothing like her and it's been really easy to manage. But, roots are so grey/white now, I'm not sure it'll work as well.

I posted this in another thread about seizing the opportunity to go grey. I’m growing out the colour, embracing the grey, and hoping at some point to achieve this 😀

The photo in the coat (face blurred) is the before.

The dark hair and the wavy back were some photo suggestions.

The curled one (face blurred) is the result but slightly grown out. My hair is naturally straight so day to day looks like a blonde version of the dark haired photo.

I had my hair cut similar to the attached in February and was due for a cut the day or so after the hairdressers all shut, so I now have very much longer hair and will ask for the short blunt bob to be restored!! My fringe is almost down to the end of my nose right now so I wear it clipped back or to the side!! Haven't dared take the scissors to it myself.....

Currently sporting a mid length overgrown long bob in a meh dark blonde/light brown. After negotiations with my hairdresser (also DSIL) I'm hoping for something like this in a coppery tone. She's worked miracles before so can't wait!!
