Just looked on line (following another thread on here) to see that if I want my dd's to have boots this winter I am looking at over £35! And the shoes are nearly all £30 too. How can they charge £40 for a pair of CHILDS shoes. It has actually made me quite .

well, much as I see your point, I think the real question is "how can anyone charge £20 or less for a pair of shoes?" given that I remember shoes costing more than that 15+ years ago.

are clarkes shoes made in europe?

I just get kids shoes from TK Maxx now. Always seem to have Hush Puppies for kids. Have just got my 2 year old boots for winter for £12

I refuse to buy from Clarks now they sell those s*dding toy shoes.

No Clarkes are no longer made in Europe which is why you can't order in certain sizes and the staff don't even know what stock will be arriving on any given day until it gets there [rolls eyes].

I agree with Senora; in real terms they are much cheaper now than years ago. Infact pretty well everything is cheaper now. I used to pay £30 for children's shoes back in the early 90s.
