Not sure. I tend not to stray too far from my natural colour but that's more because I'm chicken! I'm sure I've read that top stylist people say you should never go more than 2 shades up or 2 shades down from your natural colour. But then that doesn't explain how Marilyn Monroe managed to look such a knock out!

Really Tinker? I always thought Madonna looked better blonde. Maybe not full on blonde ambition blonde but the more natural looking blonde that she's been sporting in recent years.

I know what you mean Ruby Rioja, I think if you're going to stray a long way from your natural colour and go for platinum blonde or jet black you have to be prepared for a more high maintenance look all round. Having said that, Debbie Harry always looked pretty darn fantastic and she claims she's always cut and died her own hair. Maybe with bone structure like that it doesn't matter what you do to your hair !

I think she looks tired and teh blonde shows off her blood shot eyes - much liek Michelle Pfeiffer. But I don't really liek Madonna anyway (understatement)
