Desperately seeking style advice for posh 'do ..

Am not tall (always need petite trousers), don't do skirts, huge boobs. Size 16. Tend to suit bright colours on top. Am running out of options for DH's posh work 'do in just over a week. All those smocky/tunic type tops around at the moment just make me look pregnant and even bigger-boobed! My best bit is my flatt-ish tum and small-ish hips which are just swamped by everything in the shops at the moment! Help!!

Why no skirts? The whole forties thing with pencil skirt would look great I would have thought - you could wear a nipped in top that shows off your waist with a wide belt.

I am the opposite shape and the smock things don't suit me either btw.........

if you have a flat tum and small hips I'd have thought you'd need to minimise the norks by not wearing bright colours on top...
(I am a sveltish 10-12 and I can't do smocks either)

how posh is posh?

I have short, stumpy legs with wide calves that don't fit into nice boots , that's why (am not exactly painting a good picture, am I ?!?)

Some wide leg trousers, high heels then with wide cinching in belt and very tailored top. If you've got good boobs I'd show them off. Get your cleavage out and no-one will notice your legs!

However I have to phone my friend now who is having a crap mother day so can't do any links (sorry not being very helpful really) Mrs B will come up with the goods

thanks petitfilou - my cleavage has a mind of it's own anyway so will no doubt be there to say hello however hard I try to cover up!
