I need help! I need clothes for the DDs for a wedding...

I'm getting desperate now. We're going to a wedding in 4 weeks and I need outfits for both DDs. DD1 is 5 and DD2 is 2. I've looked in ALL the high street shops inc Monsoon and Jigsaw and can't find anything I fancy. Does anyone know any good online children's clothing shops. ( I've tried Kids Window and Children's Salon and the Just Dresses.)

I think I like the Boden 50's dress in the turquoise colour if that's any help as to what I fancy.

I know I'm being picky but it's ages since we've been to an event together.

Tried Verbaudet? They do lovely wedding type outfits.

I have... They only seem to have summer weight dresses online and I don't have a catalogue

Catalogue prob the same anyway. Aren't most dresses going to be lightweight? How about next online - loads more than they stock instore.

I was looking for something more wintery really, dark reds, navy blues etc. Everything seems to be brown. ( brown is the only colour both don't suit!!!)

I'm also looking... for me and dd's who are older than yours and EXTREMELY particular about what they wear. God knows what i'm going to find.. The wedding's in January. What are you wearing?

I've started looking at Next but nothing grabs my eye.

have u tried debenhams? great children's clothes these days

dizzymac · 24/09/2007 15:16

I have a dress I bought last Autumn from Planet for a christening. I've only worn it once so I'm wearing it again. It's lovely!!
It's dark red jersey with a very full skirt and wrap over top with a sash type belt in the same colour. It fits beautifully so I'm happy to wear that.

Next had a couple of lovely dresses today but may be a bit eveningy (if you know what I mean).

Debenhams have 1 navy velvet dress which is nice BUT its a little young for DD1 and won't suit DD2
