And I feel cleansed . Now I just have stuff that I actually use which is fresh and of decent quality.

I throughly recommend taking a binbag to all those five year old body butters from Christmas stockings, and lipsticks you've had since college!

It's a good feeling isn't it? I sold 35 nail varnishes for £5 on FB a year or so back and chucked out quite a few dried up ones, very satisfying.

4 kilos is really impressive, you must have lots of free space now. Don't let it creep back in.

OMG do people buy unwanted unopened stuff? Obviously for a tiny amount of money? I would sell to get rid especially as I can't use anything with fragrance.

Every Christmas I take a load of stuff to the charity shop!

They were part used, I figured it was pretty safe as not going on skin directly and full of solvents. I only asked for a fiver to weed out anyone not serious about collecting, they got snapped up.

I love a good make up/skincare declutter! On the other hand though, why is it always my favourite nail polishes, lipsticks, bronzers etc that get smashed to smithereens beyond repair or salvage!? 😩

i don't like to think how much I threw away! It is amazing what we hold on to. The lipsticks that don't suit - are too glossy , too matte, too blue. The power with the broken lid. The shadow palette which when dropped means all the shadows are running into each other!
