FROCK WATCH starts here! Fabulous dress needed for my 40th Birthday next year

Yes, I know it's along way away (party at end of May hopefully) but I want to be on the lookout from now on and hopefully keep an eye on sale stuff after Christmas with all the party frocks.

I want the dress to be shamelessly sparkly - think Ana Matronic from the Scissor Sisters! I'm size 16 now but would like to be 14 for the party. I'm 5'9" long legs but barrelly middle. Pref not a long dress - knee length is fine. Sleeveless also ok as would like a little shrug maybe.

I'm going to be cheeky and bump this up every so often and look for ideas on sites and in places I don't ususally look. Would be really grateful for help with this xx

I'm pale with light brown/reddy blonde hair. Norks are big but in proportion I guess. Nice frock but I'd feel happier with shoulders in the dress. I don't like the idea of 'minge pits' which is what my fat upper arms and norks will create in a dress like that .

Would love some colour - maybe green...
