Pleeeese could someone suggest where I might shop/what I might buy to wear to a 70's party on Sat night? DH not seen me in much other than jogging suits since the arrival of DS 10 mths ago and really want to look HOT! Party is likely to be teeming with gorgeous gals in hotpants and while I realise that I can't compete with that, I really want to just feel good about the way I look so I can have fun and get pissed!

lots of eye makeup, beads, centre parting and flower painted on cheek will make a basic outfit look more hippyish

Matalan have got some nice tunicky things in at the moment if you're looking for cheap stuff to wear once. also, get thee to Hobbycraft and make some funky bracelets with bells on.
