Help! Only the front of my legs are tanned- the back is lily white

So, I have been sat out. A lot. In a reclining chair sunbathing. There hasn't been much to do recently.

My legs never usually but I think because it's been lovely and not too hot like Spain or the caribeen I have been able to tolerate the nice weather more.

But the back of my legs are lily White and the from have turned a deep golden colour now. My back is ok as caught some sun from gardening etc.

How can I even this up or will it look ok and Not noticeable its isn't like a line jt just blends!

On a similar thread people were saying you need your legs to be flat (like lying down). Apparently the sun can't manage those extra few feet Grin

I have the same problem! Even a month in an Aussie summer constantly in shorts didn't help.

I have this too because I’m just more comfortable sitting that way. The only way to even up would be to lie on a sun longer on your tummy. I don’t find waking around in the sun helps.

I tried to put more fake tan on the backs of my legs yesterday and only a quick wipe over the front and that helped a bit.

The weather is on the turn tomorrow anyway.

cherrypiepie · 02/06/2020 19:49

@delatron was considering fake tan and good tip about a light covering on the front - will help it blend

Okay, get a basic flat sunlounger.

Slather your tanned bits in a high factor SPF.

Get a tan enhancing SPF (Piz Buin does an enhancing spray oil with SPF 15)

Get out there every day of sunshine for 15-30 minutes, on your front, if you can.

Voila. Wink

By the way, I’ve realised that sitting in the sun has led to the brownest knees I’ve ever had. Who knew?

I was the same as I'd been sat facing forwards to keep on eye on DC. I just lay on my stomach for a few hours whilst DH attended to the DC. The back seemed to catch up very quickly.

midnightstar66 · 02/06/2020 20:28

I lie down on my front on a picnic blanket, standing up definitely doesn't work for some reason 😆

cherrypiepie · 02/06/2020 20:38

Ok @shagmeriggans thank youthat is clear I can do that! Just pray for some sun - in the next 6 weeks

Will have to be a blanket like @midnightstar

Good to hear theybwilll even up quickly @krispycreme

Mine were the same, a couple of days of using Dove Summer Glow and they've evened up beautifully.
