What are the things you've done that helped your SKIN the MOST?

Mine are (after years of experimentation!):

  1. Vitamin D
  2. Good amount of sleep
  3. Eating avocado
  4. Not eating too much sugar or dairy
  5. SPF
  6. Drinking lots of water

Let's share our knowledge :)

Tretinoin, SPF50 all year round and layering Korean skincare for serious hydration.

Not drinking alcohol to excess and using moisturiser on face and eyes.

Using serums as well as moisturiser. Glycolic acid to exfoliate, hyalauronic acid when my skin was dry during peri-menopause, niacinamide now that’s it’s gone oily again.
Using a night cream.

No alcohol
Enough sleep (I need 8+ hrs)
SPF 50 daily
Vitamin A
Vitamin C
Moderate weight gain (through eating whole foods/good fats and quitting running)

Cerave Moisturising Lotion, nothing crazy, but gives me happy skin all the time.

SPF over the last 15 years or so has held back the clock somewhat I think.

sadly the pill - Yasmin. Without it I’m a greasy mess
low to no sugar

Menopause! My skin has never been clearer…

Also, as simple a ‘routine’ as possible. I just cleanser and moisturise. Anything more and my skin protests. Saves mine too!
