Electrolysis is bloody horrible. Hurts like buggery, and it left me with sores.

Plus even after forking out megabucks for the course of treatment, all the hair grew back and brought reinforcements with it.

I have had electrolysis on my chin (pcos) and it does make a difference when you do it regularly. I haven't had any electrolysis for about 6 months and I have about 6 or 7 dark hairs that I have to keep devising ways to get rid of without plucking (which undoes all the electrolysis work). I would say that it has worked a bit, but it wasn't the miracle cure I was hoping for. Having said that, the beautician told me it takes about 25-30 electrolysis sessions to get rid of the hair and I've only had about 10.
