When you get a big haircut is it normal to want it cut again soon after?

10 days ago I had my hair cut from long to collarbone. Now I want it cut again.

Is this usual?

You know all anyone will want to know is how did you manage to get a haircut?!

TeddyIsaHe · 15/05/2020 11:48

Yes how did you manage that?!

JonHammIsMyJamm · 15/05/2020 11:49

Who cut it? Do you live with a hairdresser or in a place where hair salons are open?

I’m jealous because I’m now 18 weeks overdue a cut & colour and my hair looks like shit. I was due to go in the week of lockdown and it was obviously cancelled as the salon closed.l

Sorry, I live abroad. Should have said that.

Probably the minor thrill/increased attention was exciting and you want more

Perhaps having had long hair for a long time, you haven't changed things much for ages, and now you've changed it once and enjoyed it, that has freed you to do other new things with it. Maybe try a funky new colour if you want to change it again without cutting?

Thanks, both.

I guess I keep wondering how it would look a bit shorter.
