I can't find any on the high st that don't look all cheap and a bit shiny. What I have in mind is the following:

Pointed, starched collar
Very fitted at waist
Not too long in the body
Long, slim sleeves, with double cuff as want to wear cufflinks

Not really the worlds greated shirt wearer which is why I want something that ticks all the boxes.

I like the second one cod but they haven't got it in my size on the net or in my local store. the other one's a contender tho too, so ta muchly for that.

ggirl, yes I like that one, but want a double deep cuff. I have something of a button phobia - I know, I know freak alert - and buttons touching table top is something I can't handle at all so hence the cufflinks thing.

smae with theM& S ones too I think - can't really see from the pics.

Have you tried the ladies bit of Lewins? I ask only because we keep getting their catalogue and they seem to do a line in varieties of formal cufflinky shirts.

MrsBadger · 18/09/2007 16:25

lewins (may be too long in body though)
or pink

EffiePerine · 18/09/2007 16:32

Thomas Pink best for shirts - they do different fits. I find Lewins gape a bit. Pinks more £££ but well worth it.

If you're in London, take a trip down Jermyn St and try a few of the shirt shops - Hilditch and Key also have a women's section (though I only buy them in teh sale)

MrsBadger · 18/09/2007 16:34

lewin best for small norked (whichever cut you get)

ZZMum · 18/09/2007 16:35

I got a perfect match to that in Mango -- totally fitted in a slight stretch cotton that makes me look fab... and only 30 quid!

DrNortherner · 18/09/2007 16:36

We have CT clearance sales here in local hotels. YOu can get their shirts at a fraction of the cost. I got 2 for £6 easch!
