Name me your best brand of skincare?

My skin is awful, I have small white under the skin spots in places, blemishes on/off, large pores in areas.
I need help trying to find something that me I’ve tried so many different brands I either don’t like or don’t suit my skin - I’m so fed up.

Thanks

Oskia

AteAllTheAfterEights · 10/05/2020 20:50

And the ordinary

Has anyone tried Elemis Pro Collagen Overnight Matrix?

pinklashes98 · 10/05/2020 20:52

Elemis, they are quiet pricey but I have used them consistently for three years and love their products.

PenOrPencil · 10/05/2020 20:53

Maybe too much is your problem? Since the lockdown began I have stripped my skincare back to absolute basics and my skin is doing great.

pinklashes98 · 10/05/2020 20:53

@SavannahCat yes I have. It's a wonderful cream, you definitely see results within a few weeks. Skin feels plumped and "fresh" in the morning.

SavannahCat · 10/05/2020 20:57

Very expensive. But, beautiful stuff. I bought a few sealed (sealed) tubes of Elemis PCOM on Ebay. Was cheaper

Vichy

Meant to add that I read the healthy skin book by Karen Fischer which was really helpful

Pai, hands down. I use the calming range but they have stuff for blemish prone skin my teenage DDs have used and loved.

weebarra · 10/05/2020 21:07

I love Nuxe

MarshaBradyo · 10/05/2020 21:08

Elemis

MarshaBradyo · 10/05/2020 21:09

And yes Oskia

La Roche Posay transformed my skin.

Tinks15 · 10/05/2020 21:09

Routine is this:
AM
Cleanse (clean & clear), moisturiser (face theory currently oil free one), spf (La Roche Posay)

PM
Double cleanse (yet to find a product I like to remove make up that doesn’t irritate me) at the moment using a sample of Clinque THDO (haven’t decided if this suits me or not) & then following with face theory cleanser - which has helped but is very drying.
Toner (no specific one just anything I grab from shop)
The Ordinary Rose hip oil
Eye cream - No7

Should of said in original post I have some red acne scars over my cheeks that I absolutely hate as well that i want to reduce.

Recently discovered Drunk Elephant, absolutely love it! My skin is super soft, no longer dry, never greasy.
Chanel - I used toners/ creams, never disappoint.

Gran22 · 10/05/2020 22:58

Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser or Elemis Cleansing Balm.

I used to flirt around expensive brands but a few years ago decided to go totally cruelty free and I found Superdrug Naturally Radiant and the ordinary. Use ordinary squalane cleanser and the Superdrug glycolic acid toner and their serum. I still use a more expensive (Alpha H) SPF every day too. I swear by a simple routine, lots of water and SPF every day. For me lots of products make my skin worse but a few key ones really help.

chocolateisontheagenda · 11/05/2020 08:12

I’ve been using Medik8 and so far I’ve been very happy with the results.
The Vitamin C serum is lovely, the low dose Retinol hasn’t caused flaking. Too early to say if my brown spots and wrinkles are improved.

Girliefriendlikespuppies · 11/05/2020 08:20

La roche posay as pp said this completely transformed my skin.

I use the face wash and face cream.
